Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist I/II to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, setting techniques, and image capture in a Denver, Colorado pediatric/adult hospital setting. The role supports the Imaging service line with emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging.

Part-time position with 30 scheduled hours per week; includes a benefits package and opportunities for clinical advancement within Intermountain Health.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required within hiring timeline.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification within 120 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 120 days for pediatric hospitals.
• State licensure and/or certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Prepares patient identification, order verification, and exam readiness.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and QC procedures.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, and consent processes.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care with other care providers.
• Manages sheath and hemostasis at end of procedure.
