Qualifications

• ARRT certification or registry at hire.
• BCLS is required with ACLS within 120 days.
• Current state licensure/certifications.
• PALS for pediatric hospitals within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licensure and certifications for the position.
• Provide procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech.
• Operate IR equipment and ensure quality images.
• Prepare patient, verify identity and orders.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain safe environment.
• Follow protocol for medical necessity, coding, consents and QC.
• Educate patient, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinate care with other providers after procedure.
• Manage sheath removal and hemostasis at end of procedure.
