Great Lakes Management is seeking a Part-Time AM Resident Assistant at Global Pointe Senior Living in Golden Valley, MN. You will support residents with daily activities, assist in dining, and participate in social and wellness programs.

The role requires caring, reliable individuals with experience in long-term care or assisted living; CNA/NA certification preferred. You will work morning shifts (6am-2pm or 6am-10am) and every other weekend, with competitive pay and benefits.

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or CNA (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and logs.

Resident Assistant Job Details:

• Hours - Part-Time- 6am-2pm or 6am-10am and every other weekend.
• Pay Range - $19 - $22 / hour

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing the hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. Responsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assists in the dining room and participating in activities and outings.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Qualifications:

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests
