Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co. is seeking a part of the Resident Assistant - Casual team to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents at Orchard's of Minnetonka Senior Living in Minnetonka, MN.

The role includes assisting with daily activities, meals, and social engagement to enhance quality of life. Ideal candidates have six months in long-term care or assisted living and a CNA or similar certification.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s :
