Tailwind Concessions LLC is hiring a Cook (Line Cook / Short Order) with Barista cross-training for our La Crosse, WI location inside the airport. You will prepare and cook meals on flat top grills, fryers, and short-order methods while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Cross-training as a Barista expands your skillset and responsibilities. The role offers a consistent schedule aligned with airport hours and pay of $14.50/hr plus tips (credit card tips paid bi-weekly).

Qualifications

• Previous cook or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Follow recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Basic knife skills and kitchen safety knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook food using flat top grill, fryer, and short-order techniques.
• Provide consistent, high-quality food by following all recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of food safety procedures, including proper food handling and temperature control.
• Assist with barista duties including preparing coffee and specialty beverages (after training).
• Prep ingredients and ensure proper stocking levels.
• Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to deliver a fast, friendly guest experience.
• Interact with customers in a positive and professional manner.
