Job summary

SSP America in Madison, WI is hiring Line Cooks for Mad Town Gastropub inside the Madison Regional Airport. Earn $19/hour with full-time or part-time shifts, plus a free meal each shift and 2 weeks PTO.

Follow recipes, maintain station setup, stock and rotate supplies, and ensure quality. Must be 18+, have 1 year line cook experience, and communicate in English; health standards upheld through cleanliness and checklists.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year line cook experience in a restaurant.
• Verbal and written communication is essential.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Able to stand for long periods in a hot kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and portion control to prepare, garnish, and present items.
• Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily.
• Stock and requisition food, paper products, and condiments.
• Handle, store, and rotate products properly; manage perishables.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists; ensure product quality.
