Job summary

VMCH is seeking a part-time cook for our Sunshine aged care home. Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, lead food services staff and ensure nutritious meals that meet residents’ dietary needs.

You’ll work with residents, families and the care team to provide a high-quality dining experience. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher, with Food Safety Supervisor Training and staff supervision experience, plus

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher.
• Food Safety Supervisor Training (HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005, HLTFSE007) completed.
• Experience in a food services environment with staff supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customer service excellence.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands.
