Job summary

Right At School in Oaklyn, NJ seeks a Program Manager to oversee before- and after-school programs, ensuring safe, engaging activities and smooth daily operations.

You will lead staff, coordinate with schools, and maintain attendance and safety protocols, while delivering a positive, educational experience for children.

The role offers split shifts, Monday–Friday, with hours totaling up to about 21.5 per week, and a pay rate of $20–$25 depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities while delivering quality service.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development.
• Strong communication skills with adults and children.
• Model professional standards around students, parents, staff.
• Familiarity with Google tools; willingness to learn.
• Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and joy by modeling standards and updating site documents.
• Safely report and document safety protocols and required trainings.
• Engage families, partners, peers, and children with clear communication.
• Maintain attendance records and check-in/check-out processes.
• Plan daily activities and curriculum to provide a safe, engaging environment.
