Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager in New Jersey to oversee before/after school programs, ensuring safety and engaging activities for students. The role emphasizes clear communication with families, staff, and school partners, with a focus on compliant operation and quality service.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with two shifts (7:00–8:40 AM and 3:10–6:00 PM), up to about 21.5 hours weekly, and a pay rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with child care and development preferred.
• 2+ years in child programs or supervision roles.
• NJ state training in child care or program management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and joy by enforcing standards and attendance policies.
• Support safety protocols and submit proof of required immunizations.
• Engage with families and staff to communicate clearly and build trust.
• Maintain accurate attendance and check-in/out records.
• Plan daily activities and curriculum to provide a safe, engaging environment.
