Right At School in Farmington, IL is seeking a Program Manager for the 2026-2027 school year to lead after-school programs for students, plan activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. You will collaborate with families, school staff, and maintenance teams to deliver high-quality enrichment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to manage daily operations during the 2:30 pm–6:00 pm window, with duties including meeting organization and curriculum

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• First Aid and CPR may be required or obtainable within 30 days of employment.
• Proof of TB test or MMR may be required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program meetings and progress reviews.
• Organize activities and curriculum aligned with program goals.
• Ensure safety and nurturing environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Support additional local programs as needed.

Program Manager

Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

After-School Staff We Call Our Program Managers:

$20.00-$25.00 per hour (based on education & experience)

• Location: Farmington, IL
• Required: High School Diploma/GED, must be at least 18 years old
• Program Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm-6:00 pm

You’ll Drive The Mission By

• Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program's objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
• First Aid and CPR-in-person (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Cleared tuberculosis test (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Proof of MMR (if required can documentation can be provided)
• 18+ years of age
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required
