Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to coordinate after‑school programs across La Grange area partner schools. You will lead a team, ensure safe, engaging experiences, and collaborate with school staff to elevate learning experiences.

You will travel between partner sites, oversee program quality, and participate in community events while adhering to the district calendar. This role runs through the 2024‑2025 school year with regular hours.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising others in an educational setting.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Strong communication skills—oral, written, and visual—with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff and the community.
• Familiarity with Google technology or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our Disguised Learning curriculum.
• Develop and coach a team passionate about a safe, fun, engaging environment.
• Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience.
• Participate in local community events to promote Right At School’s footprint.
• Manage safety standards including supervision and program paperwork.

Program Manager – Right At School

Right At School has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade, and today we serve more than 35,000 students in 17 states across the country. Salary & Location

Salary: $21‑25 per hour (based on education and experience)

Locations: This position will travel to all of the schools we partner with in the La Grange 102, Western Springs, Brookfield, and Westchester areas in a floating capacity.

Hours

Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM‑9:15 AM and 3:00 PM‑6:00 PM; Wednesday afternoons have an earlier start time of 2 PM. Hours may vary per individual school. Western Springs has a recess schedule of 11:30 AM‑1 PM.

Please note: This position is through the 2024‑2025 school year and follows the district’s calendar.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience
• Instill the Right At School footprint by participating in local community events (Back to School, Right Club gives back, Field Day, and more!)
