Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to work in California school sites in-person. You will lead a group of students, serve as a positive role model, and support a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include homework help, enrichment, and activities for groups of 20–25 students. Qualifications include a HS diploma, district requirements, and background check clearance. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• District-specific 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check).
• Provide TB test dated within the last 3 years.
• Six months’ experience working with 10+ students in relevant settings.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K–8).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Bi-literate (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting with high behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through dress, speech and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and apply discipline as needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, staff and parents.
• Participate in staff development and ongoing training.
• Provide homework help, academic enrichment and physical activity using program materials.
• Work with 20–25 students, manage classroom routines and safety.
• Assist with snack, setup/breakdown, and site maintenance.
• Maintain student safety by roll calls and sign-in/out procedures.
