Job summary

Youth Guidance in Chicago is seeking a Part Time Supervisor to support before and after school programs. You will supervise students, promote program values, and assist with homework and activities.

You will work closely with the Community Resource Coordinator to develop curricula, coordinate schedules, and engage families, while maintaining safety and positive behavior in a school setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or progress toward a degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of students in before/after school programs and promote Youth Guidance values.
• Maintain behavioral expectations in line with established methods and procedures.
• Collaborate in developing and facilitating before/after-school programs, including curriculum planning.
• Assist students with homework and projects.
• Escort students to and from programs following the schedule.
• Distribute program information and publications to promote programs and enrichment activities.
• Support regular school day administration and staff.
• Communicate information and provide support for parents and guardians.
• Provide conflict resolution with children, parents, families, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned
