Job summary

Youth Guidance seeks a part-time team member to supervise students in before-and-after school programs in Chicago. The role supports the Community Resource Coordinator and promotes program involvement at the assigned school.

The position emphasizes relationship-building with students, families, and school staff, with duties ranging from homework help to program coordination and outreach.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to understand Chicago Public Schools policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of students in before/after school programs and promote program values.
• Maintain behavioral expectations for students as per established methods.
• Collaborate in development and facilitation of before/after-school programs including curriculum and lesson planning.
• Assist students with homework and projects.
• Escort students to/from programs following the schedule.
• Distribute program information and publications to promote programs.
