Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking an After School Childcare Program Director in West Pawlet, VT. This site-lead role oversees licensed school-age childcare and before/after school programming, ensuring safe, engaging environments for children and families.

You’ll support site teams, maintain program quality, and help with licensing readiness. Prior leadership experience in education, youth development, or school-age programming is ideal.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Ability to meet Vermont DCF school-age program leadership requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Lead after school programming and coach site staff.
• Licensing & Compliance: Support licensing requirements and maintain documentation.
• Staffing & Operations: Provide on-site coverage and manage staffing needs.
• Family & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with families and school partners.
