Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a part-time School-Age Childcare Site Director for our After School Program at Nelson Elementary School in Nelson, NH for the 2026-2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar with hours 2:15–5:30 pm and pays $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, planning activities, and communicating with families to ensure safe, engaging care. Applicants should be at least 21, hold a HS diploma or equivalent, and meet education/experience

Formación

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, including a GED/HiSET/TASC.
• Have 3 college credits in management or supervision or 2+ years supervisory experience, or plan to complete 3 credits.
• Have 1,500 hours of experience working with children in a licensed setting.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support).
• Oversee daily attendance, registration tracking, scheduling, and staffing levels.
• Maintain clear communication with parents using the Playground App.
• Collaborate with direct report to maintain high-quality care and strong team morale.

Educación

High school diploma or GED

3 college credits in management or supervision

2 years supervisory or management experience

Plan to complete 3 management credits

1,500 hours experience with children

Associate's degree or higher in related field (optional qualification)

3,000 hours plus CDA credential (optional)

Current certification in ECE/Elementary/Special Ed (optional)

MACTE credential with 60 credits (optional)

60 college credits with core knowledge areas (optional)
