Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Multi-Site Childcare Director to oversee after-school programs across two Vermont locations. This hybrid leadership and hands-on role involves supporting Site Directors, staff, and regularly engaging with children to maintain staffing ratios.

You will ensure high-quality programming, VT DCF compliance, staffing stability, enrollment health, and smooth daily operations across all sites, contributing to program success and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required (minimum age 21).
• At least twelve months of direct work experience with school-age children.
• Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate.
• Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential.
• Vermont Program Director Credential.
• Vermont Teacher Licensure or Master’s in a youth-related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site after-school programs and oversee program quality.
• Support Site Directors and staff; ensure staffing ratios and safety.
• Drive enrollment growth and maintain healthy program capacity.
• Ensure VT DCF compliance and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Registration and leadership teams; use Microsoft 365 for reporting.
