Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator in Washington to support before- and after-school programs. You will organize daily activities, guide children, and help create a safe, engaging environment that fosters a love of learning.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork and the ability to lift 25 lbs. A high school diploma, First Aid/CPR, and background checks are required. Flexible scheduling and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Meet Washington state requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in-person.
• Food Handlers Card.
• 18+ years of age.
• Background Check with fingerprinting.
• Proof of MMR.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program goals.
• Lead by example to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
• Participate in daily program meetings to review goals and progress.
