Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to join our before/after school program in Virginia. The role focuses on safe, engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play.

The Educator will help organize daily curriculum and supervise morning and afternoon sessions in a supportive, kid-centered environment. Ideal candidates have customer-service skills, teamwork, and a genuine love for helping children grow.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with children under 13 preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs is required
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential
• Must meet state requirements for health and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or required per location

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum aligned with program goals
• Lead safe, engaging activities before and after school
• Maintain a nurturing environment and model positive behavior
• Document attendance and incidents in accordance with safety policies
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel
