Job summary

Archway Programs’ Just Kids program in Atco, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Childcare Assistant to provide a safe, enriching environment for school-age children before and after school. You will supervise children and support the site Supervisor in daily activities.

Responsibilities include helping plan activities, keeping attendance records, ensuring safety, communicating concerns to the supervisor, participating in training, and greeting families.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High School diploma and experience with school age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide children at all times under the direction of the Supervisor.
• Assist in developing program activities and monthly activity calendar.
• Maintain attendance records and track number of students in the program.
• Communicate concerns to supervisor before discussing with parents.
• Complete required training including CPR/First Aid and Archway orientations.
• Ensure safety of children through direct supervision and intervention when needed.
