Job summary

SquashBusters is seeking a Part-Time Academic Coordinator to support 5th–12th grade students with homework help, enrichment activities, and family communication. The role collaborates with the Academic Lead and basketball staff to deliver integrated programming in a supportive, structured environment.

You will work afternoons/evenings, with occasional Saturdays, and help monitor student progress, attendance, and program delivery while maintaining a safe and inclusive space for learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or progress toward degree in Education, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience working with middle or high school students in educational, after-school, youth development, or mentoring settings.
• Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily homework help sessions and enrichment activities.
• Coordinate with Academic Lead to deliver high-quality academic programming.
• Maintain structured, positive classroom environment and monitor student progress.
• Communicate with families about attendance, progress, and opportunities.
• Assist with administrative tasks including attendance, records, and data entry.
