Optum Home & Community Care, part of Optum, is seeking a Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for house calls in Spokane Valley, WA. A $30,000 sign-on bonus or $40,000 student loan repayment is offered, with no on-call, weekends, or holidays required.

The Senior Community Care team coordinates clinical care for high-risk members in nursing homes and senior living settings. You will conduct assessments, ensure documentation, and collaborate with the care team to support patient

Qualifications

• Active certification for NP or PA as applicable (e.g., ANCC/AANP Family, Adult, Geriatric, or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care).
• NPs require active state licensure and national certification; PAs require NCCPA certification and state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including medical history review, vitals, and physical exam.
• Document accurately with ICD-10 coding and care plans; collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide counseling and educate patients and caregivers; participate in advanced illness planning.

Education

ANCC or AANP Family/Adult/Geriatric Primary Care certification
