Job summary

The City of Englewood is seeking a Part-Time Library Associate – Adult Services to deliver excellent customer service, help patrons locate resources, answer reference questions, and provide detailed technology assistance.

Schedule includes 20–28 hours weekly, with Friday 9–5, Saturday 9–5, and Sunday 11–5. The role supports program development, community engagement, and operational tasks under the Adult Services Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field required.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience may be substituted.
• 2 years of customer service experience required; library and/or bookstore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons with locating resources.
• Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries.
• Provide readers’ advisory services for books, audiobooks, and digital content.
• Support access to digital resources and maintain resource guides.
• Participate in opening/closing and maintain library appearance and safety.
• May work with volunteers and participate in outreach opportunities.
