Job summary

Maxim Healthcare has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care for an adult patient in the Phoenix area. The position runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, focusing on G-tube and tracheostomy care.

The RN will apply the nursing process, administer medications, monitor patient status, and coordinate care with the prescriber and healthcare team. Requirements include an active RN license, current health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state.
• Current Health Certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home setting.
• Initiates plan of care and collaborates with prescriber as patient needs change.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Monitors patient status and reports changes to physician or supervisor.
• Reviews plan of care and provides healthcare teaching and discharge planning as applicable.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Homecare Pay: $38 - $40 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in (Phoenix) is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with an adult patient in their home who is needing G-tube and Tracheostomy care Monday-Friday from 8:00am-1:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
