Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in‑home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. This role supports day and night shifts, including cases with g tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators, with opportunities to learn new competencies.

The RN will assess needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and coordinate care with prescribers to ensure quality outcomes in the patient's home setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for the practicing state.
• Current health certificate as required by facility contract or regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X‑Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes and reports changes in patient condition to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, discharge planning, and goals.

Salary: $30 - $34 / Hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. We are looking for day and night nurses who have worked with g tubes, tracheostomies, and/or ventilators or are willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
