Montgomery College invites applications for adjunct/part-time faculty in the Adult ESOL & Literacy – Grant program across Montgomery County campuses. Classes are taught on campus, with days, evenings, or weekends available. The program offers professional development stipends and support for trainings to eligible instructors.

We seek enthusiastic, professional educators with a strong commitment to students and to inclusive teaching, capable of motivating adult ESOL learners in diverse settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience teaching ESOL for a minimum of two years.
Experience working with a diverse student population.
Training in teaching ESOL.
Proven experience delivering high-quality instruction to limited literacy and language populations.
Commitment to belonging, inclusion, and multicultural competence in education and work environments.

Responsibilities

Teach Adult ESOL, Literacy or Civics ESOL classes.
Abide by program policies and procedures.
Participate in training sessions prior to class start date.
