Job summary

Montgomery College's Adult ESOL & Literacy Grant Program is accepting applications for possible openings as a part-time faculty member teaching Adult Literacy and GED® Preparation. We seek an enthusiastic, professional teacher who motivates students and demonstrates a commitment to learning.

Classes meet on-campus on days, evenings, or Saturdays at sites throughout the county. Applications are reviewed periodically based on student enrollment needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in Math, Reading, or Special Education.
• Commitment to belonging, inclusion, and multicultural competence.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Access to a personal computer with virus protection and internet access.

Responsibilities

• Teach Adult Literacy or GED® test preparation classes.
• Abide by program policies and procedures.
• Participate in training sessions prior to the class start date.
