Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. seeks a Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for an acute care setting.

You will perform comprehensive evaluations of cognitive and/or communication skills and swallowing function, and provide goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and swallowing potential. The role requires independence, initiative and collaboration with the healthcare team to support interdisciplinary patient programming.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification or progress towards certification.
• Active KDADS Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of cognitive and/or communication skills and swallowing function.
• Plan and write treatment programs based on patient data.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize interventions.
