Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration preferred.
• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting support, or high-volume administrative experience preferred.
• Accurate and efficient data-entry and document-processing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, follow established procedures, and meet deadlines.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
• Comfortable learning accounting, expense-management, and internal business systems.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support a variety of Accounting department needs.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly, including approvals.
• Process employee expense reimbursements and per diem payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Validate corporate credit card expenses and receipts.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and staff to obtain information.
• Maintain organized electronic AP records.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and other duties as assigned.
