Jefferson County Auditor’s Office is seeking an Accounts Auditing Technician to join our team. This part-time role performs bookkeeping and fiscal recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and transparency in county financial operations.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma and 4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Ability to perform final audits of vouchers and employee reimbursements.
• Experience with 1099 forms and vendor setup is a plus.

• Audit bank reconciliations for all county bank accounts.
• Support 1099 preparation, vendor setup, and related financial tasks.
