The role will handle invoice processing, supplier communications, and timely payments while supporting monthly close activities. The position offers a starting pay rate of $17–$18 per hour with a 20-hour work week and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience; associates degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for AP/AR tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receives invoices for payment and matches to POs and receiving docs.
• Reviews invoices weekly and selects those for payment per terms.
• Prepares accounts payable reports and maintains files.
• Reconciles accounts payable to vendor statements and resolves discrepancies.
• Contacts vendors and operations for information to process invoices timely.
• Enters, adjusts and remits recurring payments; ensures monthly closing timelines.
• Accounts receivable duties: applies credit memos, monthly invoicing and collections.
• Processes credit card payments and credits; prepares weekly controller reports.
