The 1916 Company in Bala Cynwyd, PA is seeking a part-time Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance department. The role is 20-30 hours per week, with 2-3 days in the office Tuesday through Thursday, and additional hours possible based on workload.

You will assist with journal entries, accounts payable, month-end closes, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting, using NetSuite.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Familiarity with NetSuite preferred but not required.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries in NetSuite.
• Enter bills for accounts payable and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist in month-end close; update schedules and produce reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash reconciliation.
• Assist with sales tax reconciliation and review.
• Attend team meetings and training; handle ad hoc analyses.
• Support audits with necessary documentation.
