Job summary

University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for adjunct faculty in accounting to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Courses may be offered in-person, hybrid, or online on a semester-by-semester basis starting Spring 2027 or as needed.

We seek qualified instructors with advanced degrees who can engage students and deliver rigorous coursework across various accounting topics. This pool will support the Soules College of Business department.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution.
• Ability to teach in person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned accounting courses in in-person, hybrid, and/or online formats.
• Prepare and deliver course content aligned with learning objectives and syllabi.
• Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and submit grades by deadlines.
• Hold regular office hours (in person or virtual) and respond to student inquiries promptly.
• Use Canvas to manage course materials and grading.
