Job summary

The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in accounting. We are building a pool to teach undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses on a semester-by-semester basis, beginning Spring 2027 or as needed.

We seek qualified instructors to teach in-person, hybrid, and online formats, with courses within the Department of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Business Law in the Soules College of Business.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution.
• Ability to teach in person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned accounting courses in in-person, hybrid, and/or online formats.
• Prepare and deliver course content consistent with learning objectives and syllabi.
• Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and submit grades by deadlines.
• Hold regular office hours (in person or virtual) and respond promptly to student communication.
• Use the Canvas LMS to manage course materials and grading.
