Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Access Desk) in Loxahatchee, FL to manage resident and visitor access, verify credentials, and respond to security concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and help maintain a secure community environment.

Position type is Part Time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. The role involves evening shifts and requires a guard card or license, plus background checks and drug screening as part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help maintain authorized access to the residential community; verify visitor, vendor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community access points, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and property-related concerns.
