Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in Milford, DE. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings and experience across multiple sites.

Starts at $17.25 per hour with a commitment to a six-month anchor schedule. The position supports access-control procedures, customer service, and incident response at a food and beverage production site.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials, authorize access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Screen incoming visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with established requirements, directing authorized individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
