Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization in Dayville, CT. Qualifications

• One year of security‑related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access‑control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, access points, and perimeter.
• Report access‑control concerns and maintenance issues per site procedures.
