Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Access Control Specialist) in Whitsett, NC to safeguard clients across various industries. This role offers flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform and an hourly pay of $15.24.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Day and night shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law; licensing per state/regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points at a high-volume logistics location; verify entry and maintain visitor/contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeters.
• Document daily activities and access-control observations accurately in required systems.
