Job summary

Allied Universal in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide customer service, enforce access control, and respond to incidents within a logistics site. You will work a fixed shift and may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, increasing earnings and experience.

The pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes a night shift and the opportunity to grow into a fuller security role over time.

Qualifications

At least two years of security‑related experience.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
A background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors per site security procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points and control access for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles.
Maintain logs for visitors, contractors, drivers, and vehicles; issue credentials.
Respond calmly to incidents and report observations to site leadership.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
