Allied Universal in Santa Fe Springs, CA is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Armed Access Control) to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and patrol facilities at a fast-paced logistics site. The role requires controlling access, responding to incidents, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding safety standards.

Schedule includes Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM and Thu 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM, with pay at $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document activity per site requirements.
• Control entry/exit of employees, contractors, deliveries, and shipments to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeters.
