Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support the Santa Ana site with flexible hours and dependable shifts. The role offers a base schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our platform, boosting earnings and experience across sites.

The position emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response, with a pay rate of $23.25 per hour and a cap of up to 40 hours weekly when available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors according to procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the site.
• Report hazards and policy violations per location procedures.
