Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Control access for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and vehicles in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
