Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Access Control Driver in Monroe, MI. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and perform routine patrols while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain access records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating per procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity.
Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
