Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Entry Authorization in Portage, MI to protect patients, staff and guests at a healthcare location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs while delivering outstanding service.

This role offers flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and help deter security issues, ensuring a welcoming, secure environment for all visitors and employees.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors via access control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain access logs.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and entrances.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership to maintain a welcoming environment.
