Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Houston, TX to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and provide professional customer service. The role supports government airport locations with flexible shifts and a strong customer-focused presence.

You will contribute to a secure environment by patrolling, responding to incidents, and following site policies. Weekend availability is required, with opportunities to grow within the AUS unit.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background checks and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site procedures.
• Monitor entry points and verify credentials and visitor documentation.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries; maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, compliant manner per procedures.
• Conduct patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
