Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer Access Control at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a safe environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license for driving positions, willingness to perform patrols, and the ability to work day and evening shifts on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining access records.
• Monitor truck, trailer, and delivery activity at entry points and communicate procedures to drivers and staff.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
