Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Access Control Officer in Spokane, WA. You will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and deliver professional customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

Minimum 6 months security experience required; 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed). Schedule is Mon/Fri/Sat 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Background check and drug screen required; Guard Card preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control entry/exit points; verify credentials and maintain access records.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic per site procedures and document details.
• Respond to incidents and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
