Job summary

Allied Universal in Ontario, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control Driver to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work day-time and overnight shifts as listed, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and a professional presence.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue badges or passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Inspect inbound/outbound vehicle, trailer, and delivery documentation; escalate discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for leadership.
• Conduct patrols of access points, parking, loading docks, and perimeter areas.
