Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Management in Keswick, VA. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and assist visitors and employees with professional customer service.

This role emphasizes visibility, clear communication, and integrity-driven teamwork within a security-focused environment. The position offers daytime shifts with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and a schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a financial institution location; verify identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and access permissions in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
