Job summary

Allied Universal in Spotsylvania, VA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Access Management. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and provide excellent customer service to residents, guests and visitors. The role offers a flexible schedule with weekend daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel through access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorization; maintain logs and liaise with site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and resident concerns; assist in problem-solving.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, parking, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of observations, incidents and policy violations.
